What the score is, what it is not, and what happens to your data.
- What is the AI risk score?
- It is a number from 0 to 100 that shows how much of your work AI can already do. It is an exposure index, not a prediction. A high score does not mean you will lose your job. It means more of your daily tasks are the kind AI is good at, so it is worth planning.
- How is my score worked out?
- Your score starts with a typical number for your job. That number comes from research into which work tasks AI can do. We then adjust it using your answers. Some things raise it: routine daily work, an early-career role, a team that already uses AI, recent team cuts, low savings, and worry about AI. Some lower it: senior roles, strategic work, and learning AI skills. Your industry, company size, pay band, and how you are employed also shift it. We match your role to public task data and score it with a fixed formula. The same answers always give the same score.
- Does an AI decide my score?
- No. The score is worked out by a fixed formula that we can show you line by line. The only place we use a language model is to rewrite one optional summary in plainer words. It never changes a number.
- How long does the assessment take?
- It takes about 4 minutes. You get your score on screen and a copy by email.
- Is it free?
- The assessment, your score and the emailed results are free. Membership costs $19 a month or $199 a year, and opens the full dashboard: three scores, the history behind them, a what-if tool, and a recalculation whenever you retake it.
- What else can I buy?
- A one-off AI Career Audit costs $79. It is your full assessment written up as a personal report, sent by email. A one-to-one career strategy session costs $249. Neither one is needed to use your score.
- Where does your data come from?
- Two public sources, both credited on every page that shows them. Task data comes from O*NET, the US occupation database. Real-world AI usage comes from the Anthropic Economic Index. Both are shared under a CC-BY licence.
- Is my score shown to anyone else?
- No. Your score is private unless you choose to share it. If you press the share button we build a link and a picture for you, and only then. We ask search engines not to list those pages.
- Do you sell my data?
- No. We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that run the product, such as our email and payment providers. The privacy policy names each one.
- How long do you keep my data?
- We keep assessment data for up to 24 months. Account data is kept while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard, and that removes your assessments straight away.
- Can I cancel my membership?
- Yes, at any time from your dashboard. Your membership runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
- I got a high score. What should I do first?
- Do not panic, and do not quit. Look at which tasks drove the score, pick one skill that is hard to copy, and build a cash buffer. The dashboard shows the size of each of those levers for your own answers.
